Today, we pay our respects and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
At least 213 Australians of Chinese heritage served in World War One. Among them, 36 Chinese-Australian soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice, losing their lives in battle. Additionally, 23 of these troops were awarded significant medals for their gallantry in combat.
Lest we forget.
