Congratulations to Asian Australian Volunteers (AAV) for Being Highly Commended in 2022 Victorian Multicultural Awards for Excellence.
At the 2022 Victorian Multicultural Awards for Excellence ceremony held at Government House in Victoria on 25 October 2022, the Asian Australian Volunteers Inc. (AAV) was awarded “Highly Commended” in the “Community Innovation” category for their tireless voluntary work in supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable groups during the pandemic, including distributing free PPE to more than 120 frontline health workers and delivering around 2,500 free meals.
AAV is a community group consisting of all volunteers with a majority of volunteers being Australians with Chinese heritage.
