CCCAV Hosts Successful Community Information Session on Coroners Court of Victoria
The Community Information Session on the Coroners Court of Victoria (CCoV), hosted by CCCAV on 31 October 2024, drew over 20 participants. Attendees gained valuable insights into the court’s role, processes, and support services through expert presentations from:
- Simon McGregor, Victorian Coroner
- Dr. Jodie Leditschke, Manager of Mortuary and Coronial Admissions & Enquiries, Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine
- Jo-Anne Weller, Representative of the Family Liaison Team of CCoV
- Mohamed Mohideen OAM, JP, MASM, Senior Multicultural Advisor and Co-Chair, Multifaith/Multicultural Advisory Committee of Coroners Court of Victoria
The presentations were followed by an interactive Q&A session. Participants praised the informative content and engaging format, which enhanced community awareness and understanding of the Coroners Court.
