Silicosis is a serious and long-term lung disease caused by inhaling crystalline silica dust — commonly found in stone, rock, sand and clay. When these materials are cut, drilled or ground, they release fine dust that can be easily breathed in, damaging the lungs over time.

Enrolments Now Open at Early Learning Victoria Centres

Early Learning Victoria centres are now accepting enrolments for 3- and 4-year-old kinder and long day care. These centres offer:

• Flexible hours: Open 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday (including school holidays)
• Affordable care: Daily fees with government subsidies and Free Kinder funding available
